Firebird, Commune Group’s new venture, uses the unpredictability of open flamed cooking to intensify big flavours, inviting a truly unique food experience that enlivens the senses. Located in the inner South of Melbourne, the brief was to create a distinct brand identity that leveraged off the already well known Hanoi Hannah brand, but had strength on its own. We developed the story for Firebird around the concept of the unpredictable and transformative nature of fire and the role it plays in connectedness and community. The outcome was an identity that was humanistic, progressive and vibrant.
