In 2020, Commune Group engaged us to revitalize their original takeaway joint, Hanoi Hannah, aiming to transform the Richmond location into a vibrant "destination restaurant." The brief called for an identity that was energetic and fresh, elevated yet approachable. In collaboration with local artist Soul Mckenzie, we crafted a brand that captured the transient, raw, and gritty essence of Richmond, aligning seamlessly with Commune Group's ethos of prioritizing energy, vibe, and flavor, while embracing a philosophy of evolving and learning along the way.
